Technology Planning & Delivery Lead

As Technology Planning & Delivery Lead at Citi, you will serve as the central coordinator for technology investment planning and delivery oversight across the Client Organisation — a group that directly supports revenue growth managing Credit, Marketing, Research, Client Delivery, and Ventures on behalf of Citi's businesses. Sitting within the Client Organisation AI Lead team, you will work directly with senior Technology and business leadership to ensure technology funding decisions are well-informed, priorities are clearly sequenced, and delivery progress is transparently tracked and acted upon throughout the year.

This role is posted in London but is open to applicants with the relevant skillset and experience based in Citi's other European locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the annual technology investment planning cycle for the Client Organisation, consolidating demand from business pillars and Wholesale Lending activities into a single, prioritised view that reflects strategic priorities and funding constraints.
  • Engage product development leads, investment leads, and Technology partners across the Client Organisation to align planning inputs, agree timelines, and ensure all parties contribute to a consistent planning schedule.
  • Ensure each technology proposal entering the planning process is substantiated by clear business requirements, defined benefits, identified dependencies, and measurable success criteria before submission to the official investment system of record.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform funding prioritisation decisions, and prepare materials that support structured review and challenge sessions with senior leadership.
  • Monitor the delivery of the approved technology portfolio throughout the year, coordinating monthly reporting forums that surface critical alerts, delivery risks, and issues requiring leadership attention and resolution.
  • Represent the Client Organisation at central Technology planning forums, participating in working groups on protocol and tooling changes to ensure the Client Organisation's priorities and constraints are reflected in enterprise-level decisions.
  • Partner with the Organisation PMO team to maintain a two-way link between technology funding decisions and the structuring and governance of Client Organisation-sponsored projects in the project tracking system.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
