Role Overview:
The Technology Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology consulting engagements for enterprise clients, with a particular focus on Financial Services. The role combines project governance, stakeholder management and delivery oversight across multiple technology workstreams, ensuring initiatives are well-planned, controlled and aligned to business outcomes. Working closely with senior consultants, architects, engineers and technical SMEs, the role acts as a central coordination point between business, technology and risk stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring proven experience delivering technology change in regulated environments and be comfortable operating in client-facing, senior-stakeholder contexts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, mobilisation and end-to-end delivery of technology consulting projects and workstreams for enterprise Financial Services clients.
- Establish and run robust project governance, including status reporting, RAID management, steering committees, working groups and detailed project plans.
- Act as the central coordination point between client stakeholders, consulting teams and technical SMEs, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business, technology, risk and operations stakeholders to support successful delivery and decision-making.
- Proactively identify, track and manage risks, issues, dependencies and scope, driving timely resolution and escalating where appropriate.
- Facilitate workshops, project meetings and stakeholder forums, ensuring clarity on objectives, decisions and next steps.
- Oversee the production of high-quality client deliverables such as presentations, reports, roadmaps and governance materials.
- Ensure all workstreams remain aligned to agreed objectives, timelines and business outcomes, providing transparent progress tracking and reporting.

About the Candidate:
- Experienced technology project manager, ideally with a background in consulting and delivering technology change within Financial Services or other complex, regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end delivery, including planning, tracking, governance, reporting and RAID management across multiple workstreams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to operate confidently with senior business leaders, technology teams, risk functions and external clients.
- Comfortable engaging with architects, engineers and technical SMEs on topics such as cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and digital transformation, without needing hands-on technical expertise.
- Proven track record of navigating regulatory, risk and compliance requirements and delivering outcomes in highly governed environments.
- Highly organised, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines and dependencies.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies and familiarity with platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Holds, or is able to obtain, relevant project management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum) and government Security Clearance (SC).
