Technology Project Manager

Do you thrive on delivering complex technology projects and turning strategic ideas into successful business outcomes? Are you passionate about collaborating with teams, managing stakeholders and driving projects to completion on time and within budget? We are looking for a Technology Project Manager to join our Programme Delivery Team, leading the delivery of technology initiatives that support innovation, improve performance and help shape the future of Peel Ports Group.

Your Role

As a Technology Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of technology projects that support Peel Ports Group's strategic objectives. Working with technology teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and product owners, you will manage projects throughout their full lifecycle, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, quality, timescales, and budgets. You will oversee project planning, governance, risk and financial management, stakeholder engagement, and change adoption, while driving continuous improvement, business benefits realisation, and high standards of safety, quality, and inclusion.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven track record in delivering technology projects, including infrastructure, system implementations, and business change initiatives.
  • Strong project management expertise, experienced in working across complex IT environments, managing suppliers and stakeholders, and coordinating delivery through matrix teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • PRINCE2 qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
  • Experience with Operational Technologies or Industrial Control Systems would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence required, with occasional travel to other Peel Ports locations across the UK (approximately 10% of the time).
