At Arcus Search
At Arcus Search, we operate across some of the world's most competitive technology markets, partnering with leading organisations across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the US.
Due to continued international growth, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Delivery Consultant to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional technology and engineering talent across global markets.
About the Role
You will work on high-value, technically complex searches for some of the world's most recognised and innovative organisations, with exposure to markets including Quant Trading, Trading Infrastructure, AI, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform, Security and Change.
This is a delivery-focused position, giving you the opportunity to work on international mandates and build deep expertise within highly specialist technology markets. You will partner closely with our consultants and clients across multiple regions, developing a strong understanding of international talent markets. Many of our mandates are exclusive or highly retained, meaning you will have the opportunity to focus on quality, candidate engagement and delivery, rather than competing for every vacancy in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market mapping and talent research across highly competitive technology markets, including Hedge Funds, Quant Technology firms, FAANG, AI Labs and AI Infrastructure
- Identify, engage and attract world-class technology talent across the US, UK, Europe and Middle East
- Build and maintain highly targeted candidate pipelines for niche and technically complex positions.
- Lead detailed candidate assessments, evaluating technical capability, motivation and suitability for demanding client environments
- Own the end-to-end candidate journey from initial engagement through to offer and onboarding
- Build long-term relationships with exceptional technology professionals, positioning yourself as a trusted market specialist
- Partner closely with consultants and clients to understand hiring requirements, team structures and technical expectations
- Provide candidates with expert interview preparation, feedback and guidance throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and data integrity across the ATS

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
