TECHNOLOGY RECRUITMENT DIRECTOR | LONDON £100k–£110k + Bonus | Non-Billing | Potential MD Progression
Absolute Consulting is working exclusively on a senior leadership opportunity with an established and highly respected technology recruitment business.
We’re looking for an experienced Technology Recruitment Director / Business Leader to take ownership of a London operation of around 15 consultants, including strong billers and experienced Team Managers.
The business has a strong platform, established clients, market presence, and a team already in place.
The opportunity is to refocus the strategy, improve performance, develop the leadership team, and accelerate growth.
The Role
You’ll have genuine ownership of the business, with responsibility for:
- Leading and developing a team of around 15 technology recruitment consultants
- Managing and developing strong billers and Team Managers
- Refocusing strategy and creating a clear growth plan
- Driving performance, productivity, and commercial results
- Developing future leaders and strengthening the management structure
- Taking ownership of business performance, revenue growth, and commercial direction
- Working closely with senior leadership on the wider strategy
- Identifying new opportunities across existing and emerging technology markets
- Strengthening client relationships and market positioning
- Creating a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable culture

Relevant Technology Markets
Experience in one or more of the following is essential:
- Software Development
- Enterprise & Cloud
- Infrastructure & Telecommunications
- Automotive & Autonomous Driving
- IoT & Emerging Technologies
- Semiconductors & Embedded Systems
You don't need experience across every market, but genuine technology recruitment credibility is essential.
Who I'm Looking For
This isn't a role for a successful individual biller looking to make their first move into management. We’re looking for someone who has already demonstrated they can lead, develop, and grow a recruitment business.

Ideally, you'll have:
- Significant Technology Recruitment experience
- Previous experience at Director, Business Director, Divisional Director, or equivalent level
- A strong track record managing high-performing billers and Team Managers
- Experience leading a sizeable recruitment business or division
- A proven record of driving strategy, performance, and growth
- Strong commercial awareness and ownership of business performance
- Excellent people leadership and development skills
- The ability to build high-performance teams and develop future leaders
- Confidence to influence senior stakeholders and make strategic decisions
The Package
- £100,000–£110,000 basic + bonus
- London
- Non-billing leadership role
- Genuine potential to progress into an MD-level position
