About The Role
Technology Solutions Lead
Location: UK Remote
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Travel: Occasional UK travel as required

We are looking for a Technology Solutions Lead to join our Technology & Digital team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital professional to play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting the technology platforms that enable our programmes, services, and operational delivery.
About The Role
The Technology Solutions Lead is responsible for coordinating and evolving the technology solutions that support Etio's programme delivery and organisational operations.
Working within Etio's Technology & Digital framework, you will lead the mobilisation of new technology solutions, oversee existing platforms, and ensure systems continue to meet changing business and programme needs.
You will act as the key link between programme teams, delivery stakeholders, technology suppliers, and Etio's central Technology & Digital function, ensuring solutions are effective, secure, scalable, and aligned with organisational priorities.
The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on platform knowledge and includes line management responsibility for the Digital Platforms Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Solution Delivery
- Lead the mobilisation and implementation of technology solutions supporting programme and organisational delivery.
- Translate business and programme requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and requirements-gathering activities.
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, integrated, and aligned with business objectives.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges throughout implementation.
Solution Management and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain oversight of technology solutions throughout their lifecycle.
- Manage and improve change control and governance processes.
- Assess, prioritise, and coordinate change requests.
- Monitor platform performance, adoption, and user satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and service quality.
- Work with Technology & Digital teams to evolve or retire solutions where appropriate.

Team Leadership
- Line manage the Digital Platforms Administrator.
- Support performance, development, and workload management.
- Provide coaching and guidance to build capability within the team.
- Act as an escalation point for platform and service-related issues.
- Maintain hands-on knowledge of key platforms and undertake configuration work where required.
Supplier and Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with technology suppliers and implementation partners.
- Coordinate supplier activity and monitor performance against agreed objectives.
- Support procurement and commissioning activities where appropriate.
- Ensure supplier outputs meet business and technical requirements.
Data, Reporting, and Insight
- Collaborate with Data & Insight teams to define reporting requirements.
- Support the development of reporting, dashboard, and data solutions.
- Promote strong data quality, consistency, and governance practices.
- Ensure stakeholders have access to reliable information to support decision-making.
Governance, Security, and Compliance
- Ensure solutions comply with UK GDPR, accessibility standards, and security requirements.
- Apply organisational governance standards across supported platforms.
- Support assurance, testing, and security review activities.
- Maintain appropriate controls for access management, auditability, and business continuity.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to programme leaders and stakeholders.
- Present recommendations, risks, and options clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build strong working relationships across Etio's Technology & Digital function.
- Share learning, innovation, and best practice across the organisation.
About You
You will be an experienced digital delivery professional who enjoys solving business problems through technology and building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Essential Experience And Skills
- Experience coordinating or leading technology delivery across multiple digital platforms.
- Experience managing technology services from implementation through to live operation and continuous improvement.
- Experience operating change management and governance processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills.
- Experience managing third-party technology suppliers and partners.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, learning platforms, reporting solutions, websites, and business applications.
- Understanding of data protection, accessibility, security, and information governance principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with wider organisational goals.

Desirable Experience and Qualifications
- Experience with platforms such as Moodle, Totara, Monday.com, Qualtrics, or Power BI.
- Experience managing technical, digital, or administrative colleagues.
- Experience within education, public sector, international development, or professional services environments.
- Experience supporting reporting, evaluation, or impact measurement functions.
- Knowledge of business analysis, solution management, product ownership, or programme delivery methodologies.
- Professional qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum, Business Analysis, or similar.
