A leading software company in South West London is looking for an experienced Senior Vendor Manager / Category Manager to drive commercial performance across a portfolio of software vendors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced, commercial environment and is passionate about vendor success, channel growth, and delivering high impact go to market execution.
About the Role
You will own the commercial strategy for a group of software vendors, working closely with marketing, sales, operations, and vendor alliances to deliver measurable revenue, margin, and market share growth. You’ll play a key role in developing channel relationships, enabling partners, and ensuring GTM plans are executed effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Vendor strategy — Own commercial plans for assigned vendors, driving revenue, margin, and market share.
- Team leadership — Support the Group Head of Vendor Alliances in managing a team of Product Managers and delivering GM targets.
- Channel development — Build and strengthen relationships with existing resellers while recruiting and onboarding new partners.
- Partner engagement — Lead business reviews, enablement sessions, joint customer calls, and incentive programmes.
- GTM planning — Design and plan campaigns, messaging, content, events, webinars, incentives, and MDF usage; brief marketing for execution.
- Data accuracy — Maintain accurate CRM/ERP data for opportunities, partners, and contacts.
- Vendor expertise — Act as the internal knowledge expert for your vendors, attending training, workshops, events, and certifications, and sharing insights across sales and customer success teams.

About You
- 3–5 years’ experience in product, category, or vendor management within IT distribution.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pipeline ownership, forecasting, margins, rebates, and channel incentives.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with vendors and resellers and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Experience leading teams within the software/IT channel.
- Demonstrable success driving channel based revenue growth.
- Confident planning and executing GTM activities with marketing and sales.
