6-month contract role with a local authority

Summary

The TechnologyOne Financials System SME is a 6-month contract role with a local authority, focused on providing specialist expertise for the implementation, configuration, testing, optimization, and deployment of the TechnologyOne Financial Management System. This position is crucial for ensuring that the system's functionality aligns with business requirements, supports best-practice financial processes, and achieves the desired project outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with project stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient financial management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on TechnologyOne Financials functionality and system capabilities.
  • Support the configuration and implementation of TechnologyOne Financials modules in accordance with agreed business requirements.
  • Review and validate system design, configuration, and business processes.
  • Recommend best-practice solutions to maximize the use of standard TechnologyOne functionality.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Review current financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Ensure system processes align with organizational policies, controls, and financial regulations.
  • Support process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Extensive experience implementing, configuring, and supporting TechnologyOne Financials solutions.
  • Experience delivering financial systems or ERP implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.

Essential Qualifications Required

  • Degree-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable expertise in TechnologyOne Financials systems.

Additional Information

  • Working hours: 37.50 hours per week.
  • We operate on a bi-weekly schedule.
