Part-Qualified / Newly Qualified Technology Patent Attorney – London

A leading IP firm is looking to strengthen its growing London team with the appointment of a Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Technology Patent Attorney. The firm offers a market-leading salary alongside a strong benefits package and an excellent reputation within the IP market.

The role would suit a Patent Attorney specialising in technology, electronics, software, telecommunications or a related area who is looking for a clear and structured route through their career. From day one, the successful candidate will have a mapped-out progression plan, with clear expectations and support at each stage of their development.

The Role:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of technology and electronics patent matters
  • Drafting and prosecuting UK and international patent applications
  • Working closely with innovative clients across a range of technology sectors
  • Supporting senior Attorneys on more complex matters where appropriate
  • Developing strong client relationships and gaining increasing responsibility
  • Working towards qualification and/or progressing towards senior levels within the firm

Requirements:

  • Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Patent Attorney
  • Strong technical background within technology, electronics, software, telecommunications or a related discipline
  • UK patent qualification experience is desirable
  • Strong academic and technical credentials
  • Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in developing a career within a leading IP practice
