About The Teen Project

The Teen Project is a registered charity dedicated to empowering teenage girls by strengthening their confidence, emotional wellbeing and relationship with physical activity.

We provide early-intervention programmes for girls aged 11–18, working closely with schools and community partners to support those who may be struggling with confidence, emotional regulation, body image, physical activity, relationships, school engagement or wider wellbeing.

Our approach is holistic, psychologically informed and centred around building long-term skills rather than providing short-term solutions. Through group workshops, 1:1 mentoring and ongoing support, we help girls better understand themselves, develop resilience and build the confidence and practical tools they need to thrive both in and outside of school.

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that every teenage girl deserves to feel heard, supported and capable of shaping a positive future for herself.

Position Overview

Please note: We’re open to discussing a range of working arrangements, including part-time hours, term-time only contracts and flexible working patterns. Hours and arrangements can be considered on an applicant-by-applicant basis, depending on experience, availability, the needs of the role and organisational requirements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and highly relatable Teen Engagement Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining programme delivery, 1:1 mentoring, school relationship management, youth engagement, impact measurement and programme development.

You will work directly with teenage girls across schools and community settings, delivering The Teen Project's interventions and creating safe, engaging environments where participants feel comfortable to talk, reflect, learn and challenge themselves.

The role requires someone who can build rapport quickly with young people while remaining professional, organised and confident when communicating with schools, parents, professionals and partner organisations.

Alongside direct delivery, you will contribute to the wider growth and sustainability of the charity through impact reporting, evaluation, programme development and supporting funding applications.

No week looks exactly the same. You may be delivering a confidence workshop in a school, mentoring a young person 1:1, liaising with a pastoral lead, analysing participant feedback or helping us demonstrate the impact of a programme to a funder.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery & Facilitation

  • Deliver The Teen Project's structured programmes within schools and community settings.
  • Facilitate engaging workshops covering areas including confidence, emotional wellbeing, body image, resilience, relationships, physical activity and healthy coping strategies.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and psychologically safe environment in which teenage girls feel comfortable participating.
  • Adapt delivery appropriately to meet the needs, confidence levels and communication styles of different groups.
  • Support the ongoing development and improvement of programme content based on participant needs and feedback.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
