Location: Midlands, Scotland or South West (Hybrid Opportunities)

We are looking for a Tekla Detailer to join our growing Digital Engineering and Design team.
Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will play an important role in producing accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and construction deliverables using Tekla Structures. You will contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of water and infrastructure projects, helping to ensure designs are coordinated, buildable, and aligned with project requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with detailing experience and a passion for digital construction, model-based delivery, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions in a collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing, maintaining, and managing detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures.
- Producing fabrication drawings, general arrangement drawings, and construction documentation.
- Generating material schedules, NC data, bolt lists, and other manufacturing information.
- Coordinating structural models with engineering, design, and construction teams.
- Reviewing engineering designs, specifications, and project requirements to support accurate model development.
- Identifying and helping resolve clashes, design coordination issues, and constructability challenges.
- Working closely with project teams, fabricators, and suppliers to support efficient project delivery.
- Supporting BIM and digital engineering processes across project teams.
- Ensuring models and drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and industry best practice.
- Participating in design reviews, coordination meetings, and technical workshops.
- Supporting quality assurance processes for model and drawing outputs.
- Contributing throughout the design, fabrication, and construction phases of projects.
- Helping drive continuous improvement initiatives and the development of digital delivery standards.

- Experience using Tekla Structures within structural steel, infrastructure, or construction environments.
- Experience producing fabrication and general arrangement drawings.
- An understanding of modelling, detailing, and construction methodologies.
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings, design calculations, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Experience working within BIM-enabled project environments.
- An understanding of quality assurance procedures and drawing control processes.
- Familiarity with Autodesk products, CAD software, or other digital engineering tools (desirable).
- Knowledge of water, utilities, or major infrastructure projects (beneficial).
