What You'll Be Doing
The Southwark Telecare service is looking for 1 x assessment officer to join our established Telecare Team. You will bring your existing knowledge and expertise to provide an enhanced Telecare service to the wider Community. As an experienced assessor, you will complete Technology assessments in the community and identify creative solutions including the provision of Telecare, stand alone assistive technologies and Hearing Impairment home based Equipment to enable service users to remain in their own homes according to their wishes; and to promote independence, choice and well being and provide support to carers as appropriate.
Please note this role is 26 hours per week. The working pattern is flexible but working on a Wednesday is required.
What We're Looking For
Your strong organisational, problem solving, IT and report writing skills will be essential in assessing service users needs and producing comprehensive reports. You will also participate in the Telecare Duty process and will need to be skilled at prioritising and screening new referrals.
