Glotel is recruiting experienced Mobile Telecoms Riggers to strengthen our nationwide field teams.
We are looking for reliable, safety-focused professionals with proven hands-on experience delivering mobile network installations on towers, rooftops and other telecommunications structures.

Glotel is a UK telecom field-services provider with more than seven years of experience supporting Tier 1 contractors across major UK network operators, vendors and projects.
Our work includes BTS installations, 4G and 5G network deployment, vendor swaps, site surveys, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning and equipment decommissioning.
The role
As an experienced Mobile Telecoms Rigger, you will work within a professional field team delivering safe, compliant and high-quality installations across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, maintain and decommission mobile telecommunications equipment on towers, monopoles and rooftops.
- Install antennas, RRUs, feeders, fibre, DC cabling, steelwork, cable containment and associated equipment.
- Complete cabling, labelling, terminations and equipment installation to the required design and quality standards.
- Undertake rigging and lifting operations using approved equipment, methods and exclusion-zone controls.
- Follow RAMS, POWs, dynamic risk assessments, RF controls and all Glotel and client safety procedures.
- Support testing, fault-finding, Site Master, PIM, RET and commissioning activities where competent.
- Produce accurate installation photographs, redlines and handover information.
- Protect and correctly maintain company vehicles, tools, PPE, test equipment and materials.
- Communicate risks, defects, delays and design issues promptly to the PICW and Operations team.
- Support your colleagues and maintain Glotel’s strong standards of teamwork and professionalism.

Essential requirements
- Proven recent experience working as a rigger within the mobile telecommunications industry.
- Practical experience with antennas, feeders, fibre, DC systems, RRUs and associated steelwork.
- Strong understanding of safe working at height and mobile network rigging standards.
- Relevant current working-at-height, climbing, rescue and RF safety qualifications.
- Ability to understand and follow technical designs, RAMS and site instructions.
- Good spoken and written English for safety communication and site documentation.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to meet company vehicle-insurance requirements.
- Willingness to travel nationwide, work away from home and stay overnight when required.
- Dependable, safety-conscious and capable of working effectively as part of a three-person crew.

Experience with EE, Vodafone, VMO2 or Three projects and Ericsson, Nokia or Huawei equipment would be advantageous. DICI, electrical, commissioning, HOP, Site Master, PIM, RET, DC testing or winch experience would also be beneficial.
