Role Description
The Telecoms & IT Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cardiff, with flexibility for some work from home. This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across telecoms, broadband, IT, mailing, and print services. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Prospecting and qualifying leads
- Conducting client meetings and presentations

The role also involves:
- Managing and growing existing accounts
- Coordinating with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Tracking sales performance against targets
The manager will actively contribute to sales strategies, market research, and pipeline development, while maintaining accurate CRM records and delivering regular reports on business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong new business development and business development skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Solid understanding of information technology and telecoms services, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, practical terms.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, present proposals, and handle negotiations with diverse stakeholders.
- Account management experience, including maintaining long-term client relationships and identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Relevant background in B2B telecoms, IT services, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with proficiency in CRM and standard office software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel to client sites as needed.
- Formal education or professional training in business, sales, IT, or a related field is advantageous.
