About The Role
Our client is seeking an organised and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a variety of network deployment and upgrade projects in Portsmouth. This role is critical for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and mitigate risks to achieve project success. This position offers a great opportunity to lead impactful initiatives in the dynamic telecoms sector, working within a collaborative environment that values effective project execution and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalise telecommunications projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project teams, providing leadership, direction, and motivation to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project progress, status, and key decisions effectively to all stakeholders.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a significant portion within the telecoms or IT infrastructure industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple concurrent projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
