About The Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to lead and deliver high-profile projects within the telecommunications sector in Leeds. This role is central to coordinating project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project completion, from initiation to deployment. You will liaise with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, clients, and senior management, to drive project success. This is an exciting opportunity to manage significant telecoms initiatives and contribute to the strategic growth of the company in Yorkshire and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of telecoms projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans, defining milestones, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Oversee the procurement of necessary equipment and services for project execution.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager, with a specific focus on telecoms projects.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and infrastructure deployment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is advantageous.
