Telecoms Property Lawyer
We are looking for an experienced Telecoms Property Lawyer to act as the legal lead on a major programme involving the acquisition and deployment of several hundred mobile network sites, primarily in-building systems.
The successful lawyer will provide day-to-day legal support across property rights, telecoms and the Electronic Communications Code (ECC), working closely with internal stakeholders, acquisition agents and external legal advisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high volume of telecoms property rights acquisitions, including Heads of Terms and Early Access Agreements.
- Advise on Electronic Communications Code (ECC) rights and strategies for securing property rights.
- Manage external lawyers handling leases, agreements and ECC matters, including litigation where required.
- Provide legal advice on cell site agreements, site deployment and estate management.
- Advise on negotiations with infrastructure and neutral host providers.
- Provide strategic advice on risks, opportunities and programme delivery.
- Present updates and recommendations to steering groups and senior stakeholders.
- Support process improvement through templates, automation and legal technology/AI.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 5 years' PQE with strong telecoms property experience.
- Significant experience with telecoms site agreements and property rights acquisitions.
- Strong working knowledge of the Electronic Communications Code, including ECC litigation.
- Experience with cell site estate management.
- Comfortable managing matters independently and working with external counsel.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to senior groups.
