Hays Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy commercial construction project in Wigan.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a long-term development, supporting site operations and ensuring materials are delivered safely and efficiently around site.
Your new role
- Operating a telescopic forklift (telehandler) safely and efficiently
- Moving and distributing materials to various areas of the site
- Assisting trades and site management with deliveries
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Supporting general site duties when required

What you'll need to succeed
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Ticket
- Previous experience working on commercial construction projects
- Full PPE
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual attitude
- Ability to provide recent work references
