Role Description
We have two vacancies available, working part-time contributing to 20 hours per week for each role.
The Telemarketer role at TTS FM is a part-time, on-site position based in either our South Shields Head Office or regional office located in Tamworth. In this role, the Telemarketer(s) will make outbound calls to potential and existing clients to promote services, generate interest, and support sales initiatives. Daily responsibilities include engaging prospects in professional conversations, understanding their needs, scheduling appointments for our business development team, and accurately recording call outcomes in HubSpot CRM.

The Telemarketer will follow established scripts and guidelines while adapting communication style to different audiences, provide basic information about TTS FM’s security and facilities services, and handle initial customer queries. The role also involves collaborating with the wider sales and operations teams, meeting call and conversion targets, and maintaining a high standard of customer interaction in line with company values.
Qualifications
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage confidently and professionally with a diverse range of clients.
- Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, build rapport, and represent the company’s values during every call.
- Sales skills to identify opportunities, nurture leads, and support conversion goals in a structured and ethical manner.
- Appointment Scheduling skills to efficiently arrange meetings, manage calendars, and update records accurately.
- Relevant experience in telemarketing, call center environments, or outbound customer contact roles is beneficial.
- Comfort using telephone systems, CRM or call-logging software, and basic office applications is preferred.
- Ability to follow scripts and procedures while exercising sound judgment and adaptability is important.
- A track record of reliability, professionalism, and meeting performance targets.

Compensation
A basic hourly rate above national minimum wage is provided along with flexible working to suit childcare arrangements. An appointment setting bonus will also be paid along with on-going monthly commission when new business contracts have been secured.
