Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Telemarketer. The Telemarketer will make outbound calls to potential and existing customers on behalf of solar providers, introduce Power Volt Energy’s services, and generate interest in solar panel installations. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Qualifying leads
- Setting appointments for sales or consultation calls
- Updating call records in CRM or tracking systems
- Answering basic questions about solar services
- Handling initial customer concerns
- Following scripting and compliance guidelines
The role also involves collaborating with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of leads and contributing feedback to improve outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills for engaging prospects and building rapport over the phone.
- Customer Service skills to address inquiries, provide clear information, and manage objections professionally.
- Sales skills to qualify leads, promote services, and support conversion of prospects into appointments.
- Appointment Scheduling skills to coordinate and confirm meetings with sales representatives or consultants.
- Comfort using phone systems, CRM or lead management tools, and basic office software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, follow scripts, and meet call and conversion targets.
- Previous experience in telemarketing, call centers, or sales support is preferred, especially in energy or home services.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or customer service is an advantage.
