Kingfisher Visitor Guides is one of the UK’s leading visitor guide publishers, producing 75 premium visitor guides distributed throughout the UK and Southern Ireland. Our publications are placed in 4 and 5-star hotels, reaching millions of affluent visitors every year.
We have built relationships with 3,500+ advertisers and enjoy an 80% client renewal rate.
We are looking for an experienced telephone advertising sales professional who has previously sold print advertising, digital advertising, media, publishing or marketing solutions over the telephone.
Please only apply if you have ALL of the following:
- Minimum 3 years’ telephone advertising sales experience
- Experience selling both print and digital advertising
- Proven success in outbound cold calling
- Track record of consistently achieving sales targets

The Role
Approximately two-thirds of your week will be spent generating new business through outbound telephone sales. The remaining time will involve managing an established portfolio of existing advertisers, developing relationships and increasing revenue through renewals and upselling. You will be selling advertising solutions across our established print publications together with our expanding digital products.
Responsibilities
- Sell print and digital advertising by telephone
- Cold call businesses to generate new revenue
- Manage and grow an existing client portfolio
- Renew existing advertising campaigns
- Identify upselling opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Consistently achieve monthly sales targets

Essential Experience
This role is not suitable for general sales or customer service applicants. You must have previous experience selling one or more of the following:
- Print advertising
- Digital advertising
- Media sales
- Publishing sales
- Magazine advertising
- Visitor guide advertising
- Marketing solutions
