About the Role
As a Telephone BDM, you play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our valued broker intermediaries throughout the mortgage application journey. In addition to providing excellent service, you will collaborate with Business Development Managers to drive telephone sales initiatives, expanding our reach to brokers internationally and nationwide, contributing to our business growth. This multifaceted role will also involve attending face-to-face meetings and broker events, hosting virtual events, managing CRM follow-ups, and engaging with brokers on inbound/outbound calls and emails.

Objectives
- Interact with brokers through various channels, offering timely and comprehensive assistance at every stage of the mortgage application journey.
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers to provide additional telephone sales support, contributing to the expansion of our broker network and achieving business targets.
- Attend face-to-face broker events to build relationships and showcase our proposition, criteria, and products. Host virtual events to engage brokers based on new launches and feedback.
- CRM (Follow-ups): Proactively follow up with brokers who have registered to explore ways we can further support and enhance their experience.
Role Responsibilities
Interaction and Sales Support
- Engage with brokers through inbound/outbound broker lines, emails, and face-to-face interactions
- Provide accurate information, guidance, and sales support to brokers, fostering positive, long-term relationships
Sales Collaboration
- Work alongside Business Development Managers to increase broker reach, using appropriate communication and frequency of contact, nationwide
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives to enhance sales efforts and broker engagement

Event Management
- Attend face-to-face broker events to build relationships and showcase our proposition, criteria, and products
- Host virtual events based on product launches and broker feedback, ensuring impactful and informative sessions
Communication and Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address broker queries effectively
- Provide regular updates to management on trends, issues, and common queries
Continuous Improvement
- Actively seek feedback from brokers to identify areas for potential improvement
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for enhancing the overall customer experience
CRM (Follow-ups)
- Conduct proactive follow-ups with registered brokers to understand their needs and offer tailored support
Key Account Management
- May be allocated a "key account list" to manage, ensuring high-level support and fostering long-term relationships
Your Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in customer success, telephone sales, or related fields within mortgage lending and financial services
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
- Ability to engage in face-to-face interactions at broker events
- Experience in hosting virtual events with the ability to adapt topics based on launches and broker feedback
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and using the telephone as a business enabler
