Telephone Business Development Manager

Manchester | Office Based | Circa £42,000 + Benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Telephone Business Development Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded lender within the specialist finance market.

Based from their Manchester office, this is a relationship-led business development role suited to someone who already understands the bridging, commercial or specialist property finance market and is looking to join a stable, reputable business where they can genuinely make an impact.

You’ll be working closely with brokers and introducers, developing relationships, identifying new business opportunities and helping to drive lending volumes across the region.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing relationships with brokers and introducers
  • Proactively generating new business through telephone-based business development
  • Identifying lending opportunities and working closely with brokers to progress enquiries
  • Building a strong understanding of your broker panel and spotting opportunities to increase business
  • Working alongside the wider sales and underwriting teams to deliver an excellent broker experience
  • Maintaining regular contact with existing relationships while actively developing new ones
  • Representing a well-established lender with a strong reputation within the market
  • Playing an active role in the continued growth and success of the business

About You

We’re looking for someone with at least 12 months' experience within bridging finance, commercial finance or the wider specialist lending market.

You could currently be working as a Telephone BDM, Internal BDM, Broker, Case Manager or in another commercially focused specialist finance role and looking to move further into business development.
