Job Title: Telesales Executive

Location: Liverpool / Hybrid

Salary: £28k with 10k to 15k in commission

About us

My client is a PE-backed, value-added reseller providing a wide range of technology solutions across UC & Cyber Security.

Role Purpose

The Telesales Executive will play an important role in generating new business opportunities for the sales team. The role will focus on proactive outbound activity, including telephone prospecting, social media outreach and targeted engagement with potential customers.

The successful candidate will identify and qualify new opportunities, build initial relationships with prospects and support the sales team by booking high-quality meetings with relevant decision-makers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s value proposition, target markets, technology solutions and sales process in order to confidently engage prospective customers.
  • Conduct daily outbound prospecting activity through telephone calls, LinkedIn and other appropriate channels to identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Book a target of 20 qualified sales meetings per month for the sales team, ensuring prospects are appropriately qualified and meeting notes are accurately captured.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospecting activity, customer interactions, follow-up actions and pipeline information within the relevant CRM or sales systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to support campaigns, share market feedback and improve the quality of lead generation activity.

  • A strong interest in building a career in sales, business development or technology solutions.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly, ask effective questions and explain information clearly.
  • Quick learner with the ability to understand technology solutions, customer challenges and sales messaging.
  • Genuine interest in the IT and communications market, with curiosity about emerging technologies and customer needs.
  • Highly organised, proactive and resilient, with the ability to manage daily outreach activity and follow up consistently.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, recruitment, telemarketing or a target-driven environment would be advantageous.
