Your new company

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing energy business based in Inverness. Backed by an established and highly respected Scottish organisation with a longstanding reputation for delivering exceptional customer service, this innovative venture is focused on providing customers with a genuine alternative to the larger national suppliers. The organisation prides itself on offering a personal, community-focused approach, combining competitive energy solutions with trusted local support. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Outbound Telesales Executive to play a key role in their continued success.

Your new role

As an Outbound Telesales Executive, you will be responsible for engaging proactively with both existing and prospective customers, introducing the company's services and identifying opportunities to secure new business and retain existing customers. Working within a customer-focused sales environment, you will build strong relationships over the telephone, understand individual customer requirements, and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs. You will also guide customers through contract renewals, maintain accurate records using CRM systems, and manage a structured sales pipeline to ensure opportunities are effectively followed up. This is a consultative sales role where success is built on trust, relationship management, and delivering an outstanding customer experience rather than purely high-volume sales activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
