Telesales Executive

£30,000–£35,000 Base Salary + Commission
Hybrid Working - 2 days in office
Based in Surrey

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing trading education business for an experienced Telesales Executive to join their sales team. This is a target-driven role suited to someone who is confident speaking with customers, comfortable closing sales and motivated by earning commission based on performance. You will be working with warm, qualified leads from individuals who have already expressed an interest in the company's programmes. There is no requirement for cold calling.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing inbound and pre-qualified sales opportunities, understanding prospective customers' requirements and converting enquiries into sales.

The successful candidate will be confident managing the full sales process, from the initial conversation through to closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact and qualify warm inbound leads
  • Conduct sales calls with prospective customers
  • Build rapport and establish customer requirements
  • Present and explain high-value education programmes
  • Handle objections confidently and effectively
  • Close sales and achieve monthly revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and update the sales pipeline
  • Follow up with prospects in a timely and professional manner
  • Work closely with the wider sales team and management
  • Participate in regular coaching and training

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous telesales, telephone sales or closing experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence handling sales conversations over the phone
  • A proven ability to work towards and achieve targets
  • A commercially driven and results-focused approach
  • The resilience to handle objections and rejection
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback and develop
  • A professional and confident telephone manner

Experience selling high-value products or services would be advantageous. Backgrounds in financial services, financial education, trading, property, investments, coaching, training or similar sectors would be particularly relevant.
