Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the role

As a Telesales Executive, you'll help grow our customer base by supporting builders' merchants, SMEs, and commercial customers across the UK.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll respond to quote requests, process orders, liaise with suppliers, and identify opportunities to maximise sales and margin. The role is split roughly 50/50 between phone and email, giving you plenty of opportunity to build rapport while delivering excellent service.

If you're someone who enjoys talking to people, building trust, and making things happen, you'll fit right in.

This is a fully office-based position in Newark with no travel requirements.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing incoming enquiries and quotation requests
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Making and receiving customer calls
  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Managing multiple email inboxes and ensuring timely responses
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to deliver great service
  • Spotting opportunities to increase sales and margin
  • Maintaining accurate customer information within the CRM system
  • Delivering a first-class customer experience from enquiry through to order completion

What we need from you

We're looking for the right attitude as much as experience.

You'll be:

  • A confident communicator who enjoys speaking with customers
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport naturally
  • Positive, proactive, and keen to learn
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Commercially aware with a drive to achieve results
  • Confident using IT systems and learning new technology
  • A good sense of humour, plenty of personality, and the ability to build genuine connections with customers will go a long way in this role.
