Telesales Executive

On-site Full time

Fareham, England, United Kingdom

Description

Our client is an innovative, industry-leading manufacturer serving the construction, industrial, and rail sectors and they are seeking a Telesales Executive to join their team to drive growth and revenue.

You will own the full sales cycle - from lead generation right through to securing orders.

Duties

  • Direct Sales
    • Identify, develop, and convert direct sales opportunities through the use of the telephone.
    • Build relationships with all stakeholders, by phone, email, and some face to face.
    • Lead the full sales cycle including scoping needs, specifying products, preparing quotations, and closing sales.
    • Provide technical guidance and top product knowledge and recommendations aligned with safety, storage, and compliance requirements.

  • Pipeline, Reporting & Marketing Insight

    • Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting, and reporting for all activity.
    • Monitor trends, safety requirements, new standards.
    • Provide internal feedback to support product development, innovation, and new sector opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Sector Presence

    • Build strong relationships with key personnel, bodies, and senior decision-makers.
    • Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and supplier days.
    • Collaborate internally with sales reps, marketing, product, and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles using the telephone.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing business.
  • Experience developing and managing reseller, distributor, or channel partner relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a resilient, proactive approach and a tenacious attitude towards achieving results.

Compensation

  • Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
  • Profit-related bonus
  • Office based
