Telesales Manager

Circa £50,000 plus very visible & achievable commission
Derbyshire
37.5 hours Monday to Friday (flexible)

This is not your typical Sales Manager role!

We are currently searching for an ambitious individual to take ownership of a small but growing successful sales function. We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves picking up the phone, having conversations, finding opportunities and winning business. You’ll manage and develop a small telesales team, but you’ll also be right there on the phones yourself — generating leads, opening doors, speaking to decision-makers and converting new business.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and shape the sales function, introduce new ideas and processes, improve performance and ultimately help drive significant growth across the business.

If you're the kind of sales leader who believes the best way to manage a telesales team is to lead from the front, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you!

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in B2B telesales, outbound sales or business development
  • Previous experience managing, mentoring or coaching a sales team
  • A strong track record of generating new business through proactive outbound calling
  • The confidence and resilience to make cold calls and speak to people who weren't expecting your call
  • Excellent telephone communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to engage business owners, senior decision-makers and other key stakeholders
  • A natural ability to handle objections and confidently ask for the business
  • A target-driven and competitive mindset
  • The resilience to deal with rejection without losing momentum
  • Strong commercial awareness and an instinct for identifying opportunities
  • A proactive approach — you create opportunities rather than waiting for them
  • The ability to motivate a team through your own performance and example
  • A genuine desire to help build something and make a measurable impact
  • An interest or experience in property would be desirable but not essential

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
