About the opportunity

Via is partnering with a premium sports hospitality business looking for an experienced Telesales Manager to build, lead and develop a high-performing team of New Business Executives. This is a hands-on player-manager position. You'll be responsible for recruiting and developing your own sales team while continuing to sell personally, generate new business and hit your own revenue targets.

The sales environment is heavily outbound and telephone-based, so we're specifically looking for someone with strong experience leading telesales, outbound sales or new business teams. You'll coach calls, improve conversion, manage activity and KPIs, and show the team what excellent outbound selling looks like through your own performance. Previous sports or hospitality experience isn't essential. Strong sales leadership and outbound telephone sales experience are much more important.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and lead a team of outbound New Business Executives
  • Recruit, interview and hire high-potential salespeople
  • Deliver structured onboarding and sales training
  • Coach team members on cold calling, prospecting, objection handling and closing
  • Listen to calls and provide regular, practical coaching
  • Run regular 1:1s and performance reviews
  • Set clear expectations around outbound activity, KPIs and revenue
  • Monitor call activity, pipeline, conversion rates and individual performance
  • Identify performance gaps and put coaching plans in place
  • Create a high-energy, accountable sales culture
  • Maintain your own individual new-business pipeline
  • Make outbound calls and generate new business personally
  • Consistently achieve your own sales and revenue targets
  • Lead by example on prospecting, pitching, negotiation and closing
  • Build relationships with high-value clients and senior decision-makers
  • Work with senior leadership to improve sales processes and outbound strategy
  • Identify new markets and commercial opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We're particularly interested in candidates from high-volume outbound environments such as telesales, B2B call centres, contact centre sales, inside sales, lead generation or other telephone-based new-business teams. Experience within sports, events, hospitality or other premium consumer services would be useful but isn't essential. This isn't an inbound customer service or operational contact centre management role. Candidates should have genuine experience leading teams responsible for proactive outbound selling and revenue generation.

Why apply?

  • £45,000 base salary
  • £90,000 OTE
  • Significant earning potential
  • Build and develop your own sales team
  • Continue selling and earning personally
  • High level of ownership over team performance
  • Work within the premium sports hospitality market
  • Exposure to high-profile sporting events and premium clients
  • Opportunity to influence sales strategy and processes
  • Work closely with senior leadership

If you're an experienced telesales or outbound sales leader who enjoys coaching teams but still wants to sell, build a pipeline and close business personally, we'd like to hear from you.
