Telesales Account Manager - London

What's the opportunity?
We're looking for a motivated and results-driven Telesales Account Manager to join our growing team in London.
This role is focused on expanding Ria's UK agent network by identifying and engaging new business opportunities. You'll introduce prospective businesses to Ria's money transfer services, demonstrate the benefits of becoming a Ria agent, and guide them through the onboarding process.
Working closely with the Sales Director, you'll play a key role in driving business growth by building relationships, closing sales opportunities, training new agents, and supporting them as they develop their business with Ria.
What will you be doing?
- Calling potential businesses and introducing them to Ria Money Transfer services.
- Developing new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, cold emails and lead follow-up activity.
- Managing the entire sales process, from identifying prospects through to onboarding new agents.
- Conducting presentations and demonstrations of Ria services.
- Training new agents and providing ongoing business support.
- Managing a portfolio of newly acquired agents.
- Supporting agents in growing their transaction volumes and business performance.
- Achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitoring KPIs and sales performance.
- Researching and identifying new business leads within the SME market.
- Maintaining accurate records of daily calls and sales activity.
- Contributing to team meetings and sharing ideas to drive success.
- Keeping up to date with industry developments and company offerings.
- Demonstrating an understanding of Ria operations and systems.

What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in telesales, business development or a similar sales-focused role.
- Experience working towards sales targets within a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers over the phone.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
- Resilience, self-motivation and a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience within the money transfer or financial services sector would be advantageous.
- Fluent English is essential.
- Additional language skills, particularly Eastern European languages, would be highly desirable.
