B2B Mobile Sales Executive

BT Local Business Birmingham | Full-Time | Permanent | Office-Based

Salary: £26,436 – £30,000 basic + uncapped commission

OTE: Up to £49,000

Are you confident on the phone, commercially minded and motivated by hitting targets?

BT Local Business Birmingham is expanding its sales team and is looking for a B2B Mobile Sales Executive who enjoys speaking to businesses, spotting opportunities and turning conversations into sales.

This is an office-based role in Birmingham, where you'll be part of a supportive sales environment with regular coaching, development and opportunities to increase your earnings through uncapped commission.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day will be focused on winning new business and helping customers find the right mobile solutions for their business.

You'll:

  • Make outbound calls to businesses and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Speak with decision-makers to understand their requirements.
  • Promote and sell solutions from the BT Mobile portfolio.
  • Develop new business relationships and build a strong customer pipeline.
  • Follow up on leads and turn opportunities into customers.
  • Keep customer and sales information accurately recorded on the CRM.
  • Manage the sales process from initial conversation through to order.
  • Provide a professional and positive customer experience.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, knowledge and successful sales approaches.
  • Take part in regular coaching, training and development sessions.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything about telecoms — we're looking for someone with the right sales attitude and experience.

You'll ideally be:

  • Confident and professional when speaking to customers.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls.
  • Motivated by targets and financial rewards.
  • Good at building relationships and understanding customer needs.
  • Commercially aware and able to identify sales opportunities.
  • Organised and comfortable working with CRM systems.
  • Resilient, ambitious and keen to develop.
  • Comfortable working as part of a busy, office-based sales team.

Experience Required

At least 2 years' B2B sales experience is essential.

Experience in business mobile sales, telecommunications or account management would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

You must also have the right to work in the UK.
