Role Description

The Telesales Specialist is a full-time, remote role focused on engaging prospective and existing customers to promote Datapin’s data-driven solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Making outbound calls
  • Responding to inbound inquiries
  • Presenting offerings clearly
  • Guiding customers through the sales process

  • Qualifying leads
  • Understanding customer needs
  • Recommending suitable services that align with their business objectives

The Telesales Specialist will:

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Follow up on leads
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure a smooth handoff and positive customer experience

This position also includes:

  • Meeting individual and team sales targets
  • Participating in training sessions
  • Providing feedback that helps refine sales messaging and processes

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Support experience.
  • Excellent Communication abilities, both verbal and written, with clear and professional phone etiquette.
  • Proven Sales skills, including lead qualification, objection handling, and closing deals in a telesales or inside sales environment.
  • Experience in Training or coaching customers on products or services, or willingness to learn and support onboarding activities.
  • Comfort working remotely with reliable internet access and the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM or sales software and basic data entry skills; experience in data or technology services is an advantage.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, communications, or related fields is beneficial.
