Telesales Team Leader Bristol – Office Based

£35,000–£40,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE from £4,600)

Are you a hands-on Telesales Team Leader who loves the numbers and the people behind them? We’re recruiting for a growing, digital-first business that is shaking up a traditionally slow-moving industry. With ambitious growth plans over the next two years, they’re now looking for an experienced Telesales Team Leader to take ownership of a small team of Sales Advisors and help build a high-performing, energetic sales environment.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a dashboard all day.

You'll be visible, hands-on and close to the team – coaching, listening to calls, developing people, tracking performance and jumping onto customer calls yourself when needed.

The role

You'll initially lead a team of three Sales Advisors, with responsibility for their day-to-day performance, coaching and development.

You'll:

  • Lead, motivate and coach the team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
  • Monitor performance across call volumes, contact rates, conversion, talk time, SLAs and sales value
  • Use data to spot trends, identify issues and take action to improve results
  • Deliver regular coaching through call listening, 1:1s, role-play and structured development
  • Help develop the team's approach to objection handling and closing
  • Lead daily sales stand-ups and create a positive, accountable sales culture
  • Manage lead allocation, call queues and resource planning
  • Use call monitoring and quality assurance to improve customer conversations
  • Help shape and develop KPIs as the sales operation continues to grow
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and internal teams to improve lead quality and conversion
  • Lead by example, spending some of your time speaking directly with customers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for

We're much more interested in your sales leadership experience than the industry you've worked in.

You'll need:

  • Previous experience managing a telesales or B2C contact centre sales team
  • A strong personal background in telephone sales
  • Evidence of delivering against – and improving – sales targets and conversion
  • A strong understanding of call-centre KPIs and performance metrics
  • Genuine coaching ability – you'll be able to explain how you've developed people and the measurable difference it made
  • Confidence analysing performance data and turning it into action
  • Experience with call listening, quality monitoring and sales training
  • A proactive, energetic and commercially minded approach
  • The confidence and personality to be visible on the sales floor and lead from the front

Experience within property, conveyancing, financial services, mortgages or estate agency would be useful, but isn't essential. Strong B2C telesales leadership experience is far more important.

Why join?

This is a chance to join a growing business at a stage where you can genuinely influence how the sales function develops.

Rather than inheriting a rigid contact-centre structure, you'll have the opportunity to bring your experience, challenge existing thinking and help shape the KPIs, coaching and processes that drive future growth.

You'll also receive:

  • £35,000–£40,000 basic salary
  • Uncapped commission – OTE from £4,600
  • 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • Option to buy or sell 5 days' annual leave
  • Private health insurance
  • Group life assurance
  • £25 monthly wellbeing contribution
  • Investment in learning and development
  • Supportive, sociable working environment

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Location: Bristol – office based

If you're already leading a telephone sales team, know your numbers and get a genuine buzz from coaching people to perform at their best, we'd love to hear from you.
