We are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing business based in Derby, who are seeking an experienced Telesales Team Leader to join their expanding sales team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys a hands-on role combining team leadership with business development. The position will involve managing a team of telesales executives, driving performance against KPIs, generating qualified sales opportunities, and supporting the continued growth of the business. There is genuine opportunity for progression as the team expands.
Benefits include a competitive salary of c£35,000 + Commission, company pension, free on-site parking, ongoing training and development, and excellent career progression opportunities with future profit-share potential.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience managing a telesales, internal sales or call-based sales team
- Proven ability to achieve KPIs and sales targets within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and coaching skills with a confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office application
- Self-motivated, organised and driven, with the ability to build rapport and lead by example

Roles & Responsibilities
- Managing, coaching and motivating a team of telesales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets
- Making outbound sales calls, generating qualified leads and booking appointments for the field sales team
- Monitoring KPIs, call performance and CRM activity to ensure targets and service standards are consistently met
- Supporting marketing campaigns, following up warm enquiries and identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Leading by example through proactive selling, objection handling and maintaining strong customer relationships
