Make a Difference Where It Matters Most
We are seeking a skilled, resilient, & compassionate TA Placement Management Officer to support households living in temporary accommodation. Many customers have complex needs, are at risk of eviction, or have experienced repeated placement breakdowns.
You will manage temporary accommodation placements across the borough, ensuring properties are safe, suitable, & well maintained. A key focus of the role is working closely with customers to help them understand & comply with licence or tenancy conditions, enabling them to sustain their accommodation & avoid homelessness.
You will manage a varied caseload, including high-risk & complex cases, using a balanced approach that combines supportive intervention with proportionate enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage placements & support customers at risk of eviction
- Work with providers to resolve property issues & ensure standards are met
- Undertake inspections, welfare checks, & respond to tenancy breaches
- Address anti-social behaviour & take appropriate action in line with policy
- Maintain accurate records in line with audit & data protection requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams & external partners to manage risk & support customers
