Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Data & Administration Assistant to join a busy team within a well-established organisation based in Ilkley.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and Excel skills who enjoys working with data, numbers, and detailed processes. The role is starting ASAP and will run until at least the end of the year, with the potential to continue beyond this and possibly become permanent, although this cannot be guaranteed.
The Role
Working as part of a busy team responsible for ensuring financial and account-related information is accurate and correctly processed, your responsibilities will include:
- Validating revenue-related transactions and ensuring information is accurate
- Reviewing and processing changes to customer accounts
- Validating large volumes of data and identifying discrepancies
- Working extensively with Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
- Updating and maintaining accurate records on the CRM system
- Working with numerical data and carrying out detailed checks
- Supporting process improvements and identifying more efficient ways of working
- Managing a high volume of administrative tasks while meeting deadlines
- Ensuring a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration experience, ideally within a busy, high-volume environment
- Has strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel – this is essential
- Is confident using VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
- Is comfortable working with numerical data
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Can manage a busy workload and work at pace
- Is organised, proactive, and confident learning new systems and processes
- Can commute reliably to Ilkley, either locally via public transport or by car

Hours & Location
- Location: Ilkley
- Pay: £14.50 per hour
- Hours: 8:45am – 5:00pm
- Breaks: 45-minute lunch plus two 10-minute breaks
- Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home
- Start: ASAP
Contract: Temporary until at least the end of 2026, with potential to extend or become permanent
