Temporary Catering Assistant – St Michael’s Lodge, Langho
£12.71 per hour | Flexible hours between 07:00 and 19:00 | Part-time hours welcome
The Ben Fund is looking for a Temporary Catering Assistant to join our Bistro team at St Michael’s Lodge in Langho.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in the catering industry, including food preparation and customer service. You should be able to work both as part of a team and independently, have a willingness to learn and take a flexible approach to working hours.

You will be trained to work alongside our existing staff to prepare and serve fresh meals, wait on customers and provide excellent customer service. You will also help maintain the kitchen and Bistro to our high standards of cleanliness.
Main responsibilities
- Working as part of a team to deliver kitchen and front-of-house services
- Preparing food safely and efficiently
- Serving customers, taking orders and processing payments
- Adhering to cleaning and hygiene practices
- Reporting required repairs or replacements
- Reporting low stock levels and any health and safety issues
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness

Essential requirement
A Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
