Location: Burnley Office – Care Division

Hours: 16–20 hours per week (flexible days and working hours)


We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Temporary Compliance Administrator to join our Care Division based in our Burnley office.

This is a part-time temporary position, offering 16–20 hours per week, with flexibility around the days and hours worked, making it ideal for someone seeking a role that can fit around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collating and processing candidate compliance documentation.
  • Verifying right to work, identity, and qualification documents.
  • Requesting, chasing, and obtaining candidate references.
  • Conducting telephone reference verification checks.
  • Processing and monitoring DBS applications.
  • Checking and maintaining DBS Update Service records.
  • Ensuring all compliance processes are completed accurately and within required timescales.
  • Maintaining accurate compliance records and candidate files.
  • Working in accordance with Safer Recruitment standards and legislation relating to the recruitment of individuals working with children and vulnerable adults.
  • Supporting consultants to ensure candidates are fully compliant before placement.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within recruitment, healthcare, education, or a compliance-focused environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence speaking to candidates and referees over the telephone.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • An understanding of safer recruitment practices and DBS processes is essential.
