Join Our Team Supporting U.S. Military Dining Operations
LPR International is seeking experienced Temporary/Contingency Cooks to support Dining Facility operations at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall. This six-month assignment is ideal for dependable cooks who enjoy a busy, team-oriented kitchen environment and can provide coverage for staffing shortages, planned absences, and other operational requirements.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook meals using established Air Force recipes and production standards
- Support high-volume meal production and service
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely
- Prepare flight and ground meals as required
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion standards
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and sanitation requirements
- Assist with inventory and production planning
- Work as part of a professional dining facility team

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of traceable cooking experience
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Ability to meet RAF installation access/background requirements
- Good English communication skills
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25kg
- Preferred: High-volume or institutional kitchen experience, NVQ/City & Guilds qualification, military food-service experience, or HACCP knowledge.

- Morning Shift: 05:00-14:00 | Day Shift: 10:30-19:30
- This is a 365-day operation, so weekend and holiday availability may be required. Hours may vary based on operational and staffing requirements.
