Temporary Credit Controller - BD4 Bradford
📍 Bradford, BD4
🚗 Free On-Site Parking Available
💷 £13.50-£14.00 per hour
🕒 37.5 hours per week- Full Time | Temporary to Permanent
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in Bradford (BD4). This is a temporary to permanent position.
Working as part of a team of six, you will take responsibility for your own section of the Sales Ledger, managing customer accounts and ensuring outstanding debts are collected efficiently while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Please note the client would like someone who can start immediately or no more than 1 week notice period!
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, balance and post bank payments
- Allocate customer payments accurately
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Investigate and resolve account queries, POD requests and correspondence
- Follow up outstanding and overdue accounts via telephone, email and letter
- Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Liaise with the sales team and internal departments regarding overdue accounts, queries and other account-related matters
- Maintain accurate customer records and account notes
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Credit Control position
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - this is essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
