Location: Auxilium House, Hereford

Hours: Approx. 18.5 hours per week (with the potential to increase)

Contract: Temporary Agency Assignment, initially 2 months (with possible extension) via Hoople Recruitment

Salary: £14.22 per hour

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Finance Assistant. The role will focus on income allocation, reconciliation activities and systems administration.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring income is correctly processed and allocated across various systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate income received
  • Manage and maintain income processing systems.
  • Reconcile income transactions against bank records.
  • Support the administration of finance systems and processes.
  • Assist with payment processing activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Provide general support to the Transactional Finance team.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • AAT qualification (or working towards).
  • Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment.
  • Strong reconciliation and data processing skills.
  • Experience of allocating and processing income.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence working with financial systems.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Experience using Pay360
  • Experience of systems administration within a finance function.
  • Local government or public sector finance experience.
