Temporary HR Officer

This Temporary HR Officer role based in Glasgow will see you handling day-to-day HR tasks to keep the organisation running smoothly. You'll provide essential support to the Human Resources team within the not-for-profit sector.

A not-for-profit organisation based in Glasgow.

Description

  • Support the Human Resources team with administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Assist in managing employee records and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and processing applications.
  • Provide guidance on HR-related queries from staff members.
  • Help with onboarding processes for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee absences and leave requests.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and HR metrics as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information.

Profile

A successful Temporary HR Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources role, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
