Job Description: HR Assistant at Phoenix Collegiate

Phoenix Collegiate is looking to appoint a highly organised, professional, and discreet HR Assistant to provide administrative support across a range of human resources functions.

About the Role

This varied role involves supporting recruitment processes, maintaining HR records and the Single Central Record, assisting with payroll and absence administration, producing HR documentation, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent)
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work accurately under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience is essential
  • Experience within an HR environment would be advantageous

About You

We are looking for someone who is approachable, flexible, able to work effectively as part of a team, and committed to supporting the school’s staff and wider community.

Hours

  • 18 hours per week (to be worked over 3 days), Term Time + 1 week

Salary

  • Grade C - £11,472p.a. - £12,028p.a.
  • Actual salary after adjustment for part-time hours and term time working (£26,428p.a. - £27,709p.a. Full Time Equivalent Salary)
