Temporary Inbound Customer Service Advisor (Emergency Support Line)
£12.71 per hour | Temporary Position | 12-Hour Shifts | Fully Office Based

Hours: 12-hour shifts between 6:00am and midnight, Monday to Sunday

About The Role
Ant Marketing is looking for compassionate and professional Inbound Customer Service Advisors to join our growing team at our Church Street office in Sheffield on a temporary basis.
This is a fully office-based position, and all shifts must be worked from our Sheffield city centre office.
In this role, you will handle inbound calls on behalf of our clients’ Priority Services Register (PSR). You will provide essential support to priority-registered customers affected by mass power outages, natural disasters and other emergency situations.
This is a genuinely rewarding role where you can make a real difference to vulnerable customers when they need support most.

The role involves working 12-hour shifts, and full flexibility is required between 6:00am and midnight, Monday to Sunday. Due to the nature of the emergency response service, shifts may be arranged at short notice during major incidents.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Answering inbound calls from Priority Services Register customers.
- Supporting priority-registered customers affected by mass power outages, natural disasters and other emergency situations.
- Providing reassurance, support and accurate information.
- Assessing customers’ needs and following the appropriate processes.
- Recording customer information accurately on internal systems.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure customers receive the highest level of service.
- Remaining calm, professional and empathetic, particularly during high-pressure situations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous customer service experience, ideally within a contact centre or telephone-based environment.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- A calm, empathetic and professional approach.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately.
- Good computer literacy and confidence using multiple systems.
- Reliability and full flexibility to work 12-hour shifts between 6:00am and midnight, Monday to Sunday.
- The ability to respond effectively and professionally during emergency situations.
- The ability to work fully from our Sheffield city centre office.
