At West College Scotland, We Are Looking For Inspiring Engineering Lecturers, Ready To Support Our Students' Evolving Needs. We’re Looking To Build a Bank Of Passionate, Motivated, And Knowledgeable Temporary Engineering Lecturers In The Following Disciplines
- CAD;
- CNC;
- Pipefitting;
- Electrical Engineering;
- Mechanical Engineering;
- Fabrication and Welding.
Whether you’re an experienced educator or bringing industry expertise, we’re here to support your transition into teaching. This role is about more than lecturing; it’s about inspiring students and providing a positive learning experience through dynamic and engaging instruction.
What We Are Looking For
As an Engineering Lecturer, you’ll deliver high-quality teaching, assess students’ skills, and provide essential support to help them thrive.
What You’ll Bring
- A SCQF Level 7 level qualification e.g. HNC, or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Engineering practitioner experience.
- Evidence of CPD in your relevant Engineering discipline.
- Creativity, organisation, and a drive to inspire students.
- Confidence in using digital tools and tech-driven teaching approaches.
- A passion for teamwork and a willingness to pursue a professional teaching qualification.
