About the Role
The Faculty of Future Technologies and Design within Glasgow Clyde College is currently seeking experienced individuals to deliver courses within our school of horticulture.
Responsibilities
We are looking for industry professionals with a strong landscaping background who can contribute to excellence in learning through the delivery of high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment materials and by supporting our learners.
Candidates should have experience within the landscaping sector and be able to demonstrate a broad range of hard landscaping installation techniques, including paving slabs, monoblock, porcelain paving, artificial grass (AstroTurf), fencing, and decking using both timber and composite materials. Experience in both soft and hard landscaping, together with knowledge of common landscaping tools and equipment, is highly desirable.

It is essential that candidates hold qualifications at SCQF Level 8, or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant specialist area, or can demonstrate significant relevant industry experience. A qualification in horticulture, landscaping, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
Candidates should also possess good IT skills, basic plant identification knowledge, and an understanding of scale drawings and site setting-out techniques together with a sound understanding of health and safety within a practical outdoor environment. You will be an enthusiastic and professional individual who can engage effectively with diverse groups of learners.
