Payroll Specialist (Temporary Contract)

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll and employee benefits administration across multiple European countries. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing international organisation, taking ownership of payroll operations, benefits administration, compliance, and employee support across a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage payroll processes across multiple European locations.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers, benefits vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, salary amendments, and benefit updates.
  • Administer employee benefits, pensions, leave, and absence management.
  • Maintain accurate HR and payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and GDPR requirements.
  • Produce payroll, benefits, and management reports, supporting audits and financial reconciliations.
  • Provide expert guidance to employees and managers on payroll and benefits-related queries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 Years' Payroll Experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, statutory requirements, and compliance.
  • Experience working with payroll systems and HR platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including reporting, reconciliations, Pivot Tables, and lookups.
  • Excellent Attention To Detail, Organisational Skills, And Problem-solving Abilities.
  • Experience of international payroll and benefits administration would be highly advantageous.
