The Role

This is a full-time and temporary position to join our Major Projects Team, based at our Distribution hub in Uttoxeter. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assist in all aspects of project delivery, and will coordinate with drivers, 3rd party providers, and internal stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of assets over the Christmas period.

Job Responsibilities

  • Project Co-Ordinator: Be the point of contact for internal teams and contractors for deliveries and collections
  • Help resolve on-the-job challenges live-time
  • Ensure debriefs are completed and documented for all deliveries and collections
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Liaise with all relevant departments to make them aware of any issues and see those issues through to resolution
  • Update and maintain Microsoft Business Central data (full training provided)
  • Maintain project spreadsheets
  • Monitor internal communication channels to escalate any delivery issues
  • Support Operations Manager and project team with any other relevant tasks
  • OOH work required in support of project delivery
  • Some weekend remote work monitoring deliveries and collections where required.

  • Strong attention to detail, and desire for things to be done correctly
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, conscientious, and analytical approach
  • Strong problem-solving and dynamic thinking skills
  • Strong computer skills with proven experience with Microsoft Office
