Job Title: Temporary Receptionist
Location: Leyburn
Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
Are you an experienced receptionist with a friendly and professional approach?
We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to join a welcoming and professional team in Leyburn. This is a varied, customer focused role where you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, managing reservations and ensuring the smooth running of the reception function.
The ideal candidate will have previous reception experience and be confident dealing with guests both face to face and over the telephone.
Key Responsibilities As Temporary Receptionist
- Welcome guests on arrival and provide a friendly, professional reception service
- Manage check ins, check outs and guest enquiries efficiently
- Handle telephone calls, emails and general correspondence
- Manage and update reservations, ensuring guest information is accurate
- Use the booking system to manage availability and reservations
- Deal with guest requests, queries and any issues in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure guests receive a high standard of service

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within a hotel reception or similar environment
- Experience using Reslynx would be highly desirable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A friendly, professional and approachable manner
- Confident dealing with guests both face to face and over the telephone
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence with access to your own transport is essential due to the location of the hotel
In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate of £13.00 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience, alongside full time Monday to Friday working hours with a choice of either 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm.
